Performance

The 2016 Ford Taurus gives you a choice between three powerful engines. The 3.5L V6 engine uses twin independent variable cam shaft timing to control when the valves open and close for better performance and fuel economy, and sequential multi port electronic fuel injection for a smooth and steady stream of power when you need it, producing 288 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque. It gets up to 27 mpg highway.

You can also choose the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, which uses exclusive Ford technology to provide a 20% improvement in fuel efficiency and a 15% drop in fuel emissions. It comes with standard all wheel drive for better handling over any terrain, as well as twin-turbocharged direct fuel injection for more power when you need it. It produces 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, getting up to 24 mpg highway.

Finally, the 2.0L 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine uses Ti-VCT and single-turbocharged direct fuel injection to produce up to 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a 6-speed electronically controlled SelectShift transmission with automatic overdrive, getting up to 29 mpg highway.

The 2016 Hyundai Impala is powered by a 3.6L V6 engine with a dual overhead cam shaft and variable valve timing. It produces up to 205 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque, optimizing low-end torque and high-end power. It uses a 6-speed automatic transmission to get up to 33 mpg highway.
