If you're also considering some of it's rivals, here's some data on how the 2013 Fiesta Titanium hatchback stands up against the 2013 Honda Fit AT w/ Navigation.

Ford's Fiesta Outdoes the Competition

One of the most attractive features of Ford's new hatchback is its MSRP, which lists at $18,200. The Fit, on the other hand rates at $19,690. Though their destination charges are almost the same, when comparably priced, the Ford is still a great deal. The new Fiesta is then available for $18,995, whereas the Honda crests over $20k at $20,480.

Under the hood, the Ford 5-door has a 1.6L Duratec I-4 engine that produces 120 hp and 112 lb-ft of torque. The Honda has a 1.5L i-VTEC I-4 engine for 117 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque. Though similar in performance, the Ford ekes out ahead, and drivers will notice the difference at the pump.

In fuel economy, the 2013 Fiesta gets 29 mpg in the city and an admirable 39 mpg on the highway. The Fit comes in at 27 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. That's a difference of 6 mpg in favor of the Fiesta, which will make a sizable difference on long trips.

Sometimes the little things can make a big difference, especially when it comes to driving a new vehicle off of the showroom floor. The new Fiesta has smart features that many buyers will appreciate, like heated exterior mirrors. Owners will also find a power outlet in the rear seat or cargo area as well. The Fit, on the other hand, doesn't make these items available.
